A little about me…

A graduate of Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor in Creative Writing & Publishing in 2021, and a current student at Simon Fraser University in the Master of Publishing program, I have extensive academic training in the arts of editing, writing, and publishing.

Passionate about helping authors write the best version of their stories, I offer substantive, stylistic, and copyediting services to aspiring writers to prepare their manuscripts for publication. Whether it be offering a fully comprehensive reader’s report dissecting character, plot, and writing style or providing the last set of eyes on a manuscript for proofreading; I am dedicated to helping authors with anything they need to succeed.

As an aspiring literary agent, I know what agencies and publishers are looking for. I am well-acquainted with copyright and contracts and acquisitions and can use this knowledge in my editing to prepare your manuscript for the publishing industry. I am also well-versed in what agents are looking for in query letters, and can assist you in putting your best foot forward when pitching yourself for representation.

I am experienced in working with both long and short fiction, and have extensive experience editing full-length novels through my freelance work and my work with The Rights Factory as an Editorial Assistant. I primarily work within the genres of Literary Fiction, Thriller, and Horror, and am especially experienced in editing Young Adult and Middle Grade novels.

I am particularly dedicated in supporting emerging Canadian authors, especially LGBTQA+, BIPOC, and disabled writers. If you are an emerging author from any of these communities that is looking for editorial assistance but are currently struggling financially, please feel free to reach out to me with a query.

I hope to be a champion to books that I believe in. I will never take on work that I am not passionate about, and will dedicate myself to every piece I edit. My feedback will always be detailed, truthful, and constructive in order to make your manuscript the best it can be.
